Dr. Jonathan Ouellette’s love for dentistry began with his father, Dr. Paul Ouellette, a board certified Orthodontist and leading advocate of the implementation of cutting edge technology applications in dentistry. As a child, Dr. Jonathan Ouellette worked closely with his dad, observing his great bedside manner and passion for the field. It’s because of his father that Dr. Jonathan Ouellette pursued a medical career and became an Orlando Dentist.
Dental school in Bogota, Colombia, at the University of Javeriana, solidified his love and passion for dentistry. This university showed him the true significance of service to the community due to a huge percentage of the population in Colombia needing the care of students, like Dr. Jonathan Ouellette, to restore their beautiful smiles. Working in the villages and orphanages of Colombia really opened his eyes and made him realize he could truly make a difference.
Dr. Ouellette, AEGD, went on to complete a two year residency at the University of Florida, where he focused on implant dentistry. It was there that he met Dr. Michael McCracken and Dr. Guy Rosensteil, his mentors, and was asked if he would like to be Chief Resident at their program in Birmingham, AL. Dr. Jonathan Ouellette gladly accepted and was introduced to an even more advanced world of implant dentistry, IV sedation and prosthodontics. Due to his love for serving his community, Dr. Jonathan Ouellette spent three additional years in residency honing his skills to help others with their dental needs.
Since then, Dr. Jonathan Ouellette has established a highly reputable and active restorative implant dentistry practice, providing excellent care to Greater Orlando. His mission is “to restore and impact the lives of those who entrust him with their dental care,” and he makes sure that mission is fulfilled each and every day by using the most advanced and up-to-date technology.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Jonathan Ouellette is also an adjunct professor at The Foundry in Bessemer, Alabama.
Aside from dentistry, Dr. Jonathan Ouellette loves spending his spare time with his beautiful wife, Kim, a tax attorney. The Ouellette’s enjoy participating in a variety of Orlando affairs, such as working out, scuba diving and golfing. As an avid golfer, Dr. Jonathan Ouellette enjoys getting together with his father, sister and brother, Jason, who is also an Orthodontist in Jacksonville, FL for a round of golf.
